The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) has an “Aging in Place” (AIP) program that helps communities find resources to improve services and the built environment for senior citizens. After meeting with AIP Director Laura Keyes, Tucker Civic Association board members are exploring the possibility of establishing an “Aging in Place” plan for Tucker & Smoke Rise.
The first step in the process is to conduct an internet-based survey of senior residents in the community. The results of the survey will identify services and street improvements that will be most beneficial.
